Oh WOW, I'm so far behind (in all areas of my life) and trying to get caught up! Will it ever really happen!??? Stay optimistic. Stay optimistic. Stay optimistic. Nahhhh....., it won't happen! 
So..... Poppy & Butty (my dad and step-mom), came out from Colorado, to pay us a visit a few weeks ago. We showed them around Gruene, had a beer in Luckenbach, toured some wineries in Fredericksburg, and sent them to a Bonnie Raitt concert as an early Christmas gift. We loved having them here and wish they could have stayed longer! 
Although, I'm sure Poppy doesn't miss being sandwiched between an infant and screaming 2 year old in the back middle seat!
